If low fill it up & try to recheck sealing gasket & installation before priming & trying again. Never easy to get one started after it gets air in the system. But a couple of times i have been on long hills and the acceleration more or less stops ..today it was at about 70 mph in 5th gear and doing about 2500 revs .
